DOLE: Over two million workers displaced by pandemic

As of April 24, over two million workers have been displaced due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the Philippines.

The highest number of affected workers is recorded in the National Capital Region with 687,634 workers.

Temporary business closures account for nearly 1.4 million displaced workers while more than 687,000 experienced reduced incomes due to alternative work arrangements like telecommuting and forced leave.
