DOLE aids 16K displaced workers in E. Visayas and Soccsksargen

As of Friday, 16,467 displaced workers in Eastern Visayas and Soccsksargen have received PHP51 million in financial aid under the DOLE's CAMP program.

In Eastern Visayas, 5,369 formal sector workers from 401 establishments each received PHP5,000, while 5,942 informal workers from 72 cities and towns received similar assistance through TUPAD.

In Soccsksargen, 5,156 private workers affected by the enhanced community quarantine have received PHP5,000 each under CAMP, with a total of PHP25.78 million released to qualified beneficiaries from 429 establishments.
