Abalos angry over death of alleged Lapid slay middleman

Interior Secretary Benjamin Abalos Jr. expressed deep concern and anger over the death of an inmate believed to be a middleman in the fatal ambush of broadcaster Percy Lapid.

The 42-year-old inmate died in New Bilibid Prison on Tuesday, October 18.

Abalos emphasized that an autopsy is being conducted to determine if foul play was involved and vowed to demand accountability if any wrongdoing is found.
