DOH rolls out second COVID-19 booster for immunosuppressed

The government is rolling out the second COVID-19 booster shot for immunocompromised individuals in NCR starting Monday, April 25.

The DOH expects around 7,000 to 13,000 immunocompromised adults to receive their second boosters on the first day of rollout.

Vaccination sites such as PCMC, Tala Hospital, Valenzuela Medical Center, and Makati city government will begin administering the shots.

The NVOC chairperson confirmed that there are about 600,000 fully vaccinated immunocompromised adults who already have first booster shots or third doses eligible for second boosters.
