DOH: Half of health workers yet to get COVID-19 boosters

As of Friday, nearly half of fully vaccinated healthcare workers in the Philippines have not received their COVID-19 booster shots.

Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire stated that 95% of the country's healthcare workers are fully vaccinated but only 49.07% have gotten their boosters.

Anna Ong-Lim, a member of the DOH Technical Advisory Group, suggested that the decline in new cases might be contributing to the low booster rate among healthcare workers.
