PH recoveries hit 418K, new cases at 1,339

As of Monday, December 14, the Philippines has recorded 418,723 recoveries from COVID-19, representing a 92.9% recovery rate.

The Department of Health (DOH) reported 1,339 new cases and 24 deaths on that day.

Sunday's report showed an additional 9,269 recoveries, bringing the total to 418,687 with 1,085 new confirmed cases and three new deaths.

Health workers continue to be disproportionately affected, with a total of 13,018 health workers contracting COVID-19 as of December 12, including 297 new cases over the past week.
