DOH: PH health protocols effective vs COVID variants

The Philippines' health protocols remain effective against any COVID-19 variant, according to the DOH.

On December 31, the DOH issued a memorandum calling for heightened alert from travelers from China and strict implementation of border control measures.

All DOH-Centers for Health Development were instructed to prepare resources and ramp up information dissemination on layers of protection such as mask-wearing and vaccination.

The IATF will discuss guidelines on how to deal with the resurgence in China, including border control for Chinese travelers.
