DOH clarifies circulating COVID-19 vaccine law draft not final

The Department of Health (DOH) clarified on Sunday that an unofficial draft of the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) for Republic Act No. 11525 or the COVID-19 Vaccination Law is not final.

The DOH emphasized its commitment to provide equitable access to vaccines based on prioritization criteria approved by the Inter-Agency Task Force.

The agency stated that the development of the IRR adheres to principles of equal respect and national equity as per WHO guidelines, ensuring no discrimination against any population sector.
