DOH: PH healthcare use low risk but ICUs filling up

The DOH reported that despite the surge in confirmed COVID-19 cases, the country's healthcare utilization rate remains at low risk with 35 percent.

However, Dr. Beverly Ho from the DOH warned that ICU beds are slowly being filled up and emphasized the need to monitor areas where case numbers are rising.

Metro Manila’s ICU occupancy rate is now in moderate-risk classification at 65%, while Central Visayas, Davao Region, and Cordillera region also show high ICU bed utilization rates.
