PGH ICU full, 86pct beds occupied; Pasay City hospital nears capacity

As of Tuesday morning, the intensive care unit at the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) is fully occupied with 86.66% of all virus-related beds filled.

Around 10 more patients are waiting to be admitted, while 40 percent of PGH's 157 confirmed cases have moderate symptoms, 25 percent are severe, and 20 percent are critical.

Pasay City General Hospital (PCGH) is also nearing full capacity with its confirmed cases ward at 75% occupancy and transition rooms at 55%, leading to the city government requesting additional isolation facilities through Oplan Kalinga.
