DOH: Active cases could drop to 22K by Nov. 15

The Department of Health (DOH) projects that the country's active COVID-19 cases could drop to around 22,000 by November 15 if current health protocols are maintained.

Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire said this projection is based on calculations from a DOH team using the Feasibility Analysis of Syndromic Surveillance Spatio-Temporal Epidemiological Modeler (FASSSTER).

Vergeire emphasized that continued adherence to minimum public health standards and maintaining current mobility levels are crucial in achieving this target.
