Philippines investigates reports of Chinese vessels chasing TV crew in West Philippine Sea

Philippines authorities are investigating reports that Chinese vessels chased a Filipino television crew in the West Philippine Sea.

DFA said it would raise the matter with China if proven true and reminded the public to coordinate with Philippine authorities when visiting disputed areas.

DND ordered the Armed Forces of the Philippines to conduct a fact-finding investigation into the incident involving ABS-CBN reporter Chiara Zambrano and her crew.
