IATF develops sector-specific plans for Covid-19 fight

The Inter-agency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases is developing sector-specific plans and strategies to combat the coronavirus crisis.

Local government units (LGUs) are being directed to facilitate regional cooperation and share best practices to contain the spread of Covid-19.

DILG Secretary Eduardo Año instructed LGUs to focus on contact tracing, following IATF Resolution No. 25, emphasizing the importance of detecting, isolating, treating, and reintegrating carriers of the virus.
