Davao Occidental recorded its second COVID-19 case on May 26, involving a 25-year-old female who tested positive upon her return through the 'Balik Probinsya' program.

The patient worked at a public market in Davao City before ECQ and was asymptomatic; contact tracing is ongoing.

Separately, Digos City confirmed its second case on May 26, involving a 29-year-old male with no travel history who tested positive and is asymptomatic.
