Dagupan starts risk-based COVID testing for frontliners

Dagupan City has started risk-based coronavirus testing for about 600 frontliners using RT-PCR tests.

The test targets include barangay health workers, nurses, firemen, rescue personnel, and police, with some private sector employees also included.

Philippine Red Cross provided 1,500 RT-PCR test kits, with unused kits to be stored for future use.

Specimens will be sent to the PRC central laboratory in Metro Manila, with results expected within two to five days.
