Hidilyn Diaz, Carlos Yulo reunite at Eiffel Tower

Olympic gold medalists Hidilyn Diaz-Naranjo and Carlos Yulo met up for a historic reunion at the Eiffel Tower in Paris ahead of the Paris Olympics, where they expressed pride and encouragement for each other.

Diaz, who arrived earlier to support Filipino athletes including John Ceniza, Elreen Ando, and Vanessa Sarno, turned emotional during their meeting, praising Yulo's achievements and recalling how her gold medal inspired him in Tokyo.

Yulo won two gold medals in men's gymnastics at the Paris Games, with one from floor exercise and another from vault, expressing his gratitude to Diaz for motivating him.

Diaz will continue to support Filipino athletes during the Paris Games, with Ceniza competing on Wednesday night followed by Ando on Thursday and Sarno on Saturday.
