DHSUD pledges PHP100M each for Odette-hit provinces

The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) has pledged PHP100 million worth of assistance for each province affected by Typhoon Odette.

Secretary Eduardo del Rosario said the funds may be used to procure construction materials and repair severely damaged houses in the first quarter of 2022.

The DHSUD, in coordination with USAID and IOM, has already distributed 5,598 shelter-grade tarpaulin sheets for evacuees in Cebu, Bohol, Southern Leyte, and Caraga Region.
