Cebu allocates P5M per town for Odette-hit houses

Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia announced that each city and municipality in Cebu will receive P5 million for rebuilding houses damaged by Typhoon Odette.

Garcia prioritized residents' shelter needs over repairs on public buildings and stated that the province has sufficient funds for relief efforts without needing additional aid from the national government.

The provincial government also set aside PHP500 million to help restore livelihoods affected by the typhoon, expressing gratitude but not demanding assistance from the national government.
