DHSUD offers PHP10K-PHP30K aid for typhoon victims

The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) assured Filipinos on Monday that financial assistance is available for those affected by recent typhoons.

Under the Integrated Disaster Shelter Assistance Program (IDSAP), typhoon victims whose homes were partially damaged will receive PHP10,000 while those with completely destroyed homes can get PHP30,000 as part of President Marcos Jr.'s directive to provide continuous support for disaster-affected individuals.

To apply, residents must register their household names on a masterlist of beneficiaries and submit identification documents along with a completed form at their local government units (LGUs).

LGUs are required to provide three main documents: the masterlist of beneficiaries, a certificate of eligibility, and a disaster report.

In addition to financial assistance, the DHSUD is also supplying housing materials and essentials to typhoon victims.
