DFA repatriates 82K Filipinos, aims for more by month-end

As of July 14, the DFA has repatriated a total of 82,057 overseas Filipinos amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Of these, 38,308 are sea-based workers and 43,749 are land-based workers.

The DFA aims to bring home more than 50,000 additional stranded Filipinos by the end of July, reducing the number of stranded OFWs from 167,626 to an estimated 117,049.
