DFA: 43 more Filipinos abroad test positive for COVID-19

As of Wednesday, July 15, the total number of Filipinos abroad who have tested positive for COVID-19 increased to 8,915 with 43 new cases.

Total recoveries rose to 5,311 after 34 more patients recovered, while the death toll remained at 618.

In Asia and the Pacific, there are 722 total cases, including 128 active cases, 589 recoveries, and five deaths.

The Middle East/Africa region has the highest number of cases with 6,431, consisting of 2,240 active cases, 3,842 recoveries, and 349 fatalities.

Europe reported a total of 1,063 cases, including 498 active cases, 470 recoveries, and 95 deaths.

In the Americas, there are 699 total cases with 120 active cases, 410 recoveries, and 169 fatalities.
