DFA: 15 new COVID-19 cases among Filipinos abroad

As of Monday, March 22, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) reported 15 new cases of COVID-19 among Filipinos abroad, increasing the total to 15,985.

Total recoveries increased to 9,700 with nine more people recovering from the illness, while the death toll remained at 1,047.

The Middle East/Africa region continues to have the highest number of cases among Filipinos abroad, totaling 8,882 with 673 deaths and 4,754 recoveries.

Europe follows with 3,217 infections including 130 fatalities and 2,217 recoveries.

In the Asia Pacific Region, there are 2,995 cases, with 21 deaths and 2,129 recoveries.
