DepEd backs Duterte's delay of face-to-face classes

The Department of Education (DepEd) supports President Duterte's decision to postpone the pilot implementation of face-to-face classes due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

DepEd emphasized that vaccine availability is a critical factor for resuming physical classes and will continue preparing action plans should the president approve them in the future.

Physical classes could be considered in low-risk areas by August, but this remains contingent on the President's approval.
