Despite these efforts, families continue to visit the beach due to looser restrictions under Alert Level 3.

DENR Undersecretary Jonas Leones warned that ignoring minimum health standards could lead to a super spreader event.

The DENR clarified that children are allowed at the beach as there are no local government prohibitions in place.

PCG personnel and police officers patrol the area, setting up assistance desks to ensure safety protocols are followed.
