Sputnik V delivery delayed due to upgrades

The delivery of 50,000 doses of Sputnik V vaccines has been deferred due to ongoing upgrades.

Vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. announced that the second dose schedule for those vaccinated earlier this month will be pushed back and rescheduled.

Dr. Rontgene Solante said a delay of up to six months in administering the second dose would not affect Sputnik V's efficacy, while Harry Roque noted that delaying the second dose could increase its efficacy.
