DLSU defends UAAP VALORANT title, beats FEU 13-7, 13-10

De La Salle University successfully defended their title by defeating Far Eastern University 13-7, 13-10 in the UAAP Season 87 VALORANT Tournament finals on Sunday.

Coach Aron Orlanda praised his team's resilience and ability to adjust during the intense match, despite being challenged closely by FEU.

Xavier Juan emerged as the MVP with a clutch performance that helped La Salle secure their victory in both games, particularly in Map 2 where he delivered a pivotal 1v1 win.

Far Eastern University made a significant turnaround this season, reaching the grand finals after being winless last year and proving to be a formidable opponent for DLSU.

The semifinals saw De La Salle overcoming a 4-0 deficit against the University of the Philippines to advance, while Far Eastern University defeated Ateneo de Manila in a close match.
