Davao confirms Delta variant case, logs Alpha, Beta cases

Davao City confirmed a Delta variant case involving a 28-year-old female who had completed her isolation period and recovered.

The patient, who tested positive on June 26 after exposure to another COVID-19 patient at work, received two doses of the vaccine.

Meanwhile, Davao Oriental logged two cases of the Alpha variant and one case of the Beta variant in June; all patients have since recovered.

Davao City continues reinvestigations, repeat testing, and isolation measures to prevent a surge caused by the Delta variant.
