Three diarrhea patients test positive for Covid-19

Three diarrhea patients in Barangay Tulalian, Sto. Tomas, Davao del Norte have tested positive for Covid-19.

The three patients include a symptomatic 20-year-old man and two asymptomatic individuals who were among the 99 patients subjected to RT-PCR tests.

Mayor Ernesto Evangelista declared a diarrhea outbreak in Barangay Tulalian on July 16 following a resident's death and hospitalization of 47 others.

The outbreak was allegedly caused by contaminated water, with residents refusing hospitalization due to fear of contracting Covid-19.
