Dagupan mayor tests positive for COVID-19

Dagupan City Mayor Marc Brian Lim tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday, May 25.

Lim contracted the virus from a close contact who also tested positive and is experiencing only mild symptoms due to being fully vaccinated.

He received his first dose of the vaccine on April 8 and his second dose on May 5.

Lim urged the public to follow health protocols and get vaccinated once scheduled, as local governments are currently vaccinating people under the A1, A2, and A3 priority groups.
