Creamline beats Akari 3-1 in PVL On Tour

Creamline continued its dominant play in the PVL On Tour by defeating Akari with a 27-25, 22-25, 25-19, and 25-18 sweep on Monday at Chavit Coliseum in Vigan, Ilocos Sur.

Led by Alyssa Valdez's all-around performance of 16 points including 13 attacks, two aces, one block, and 18 receptions, Creamline bounced back from losing the second set to secure their second consecutive victory following Sunday's win over Capital1.

Coach Sherwin Meneses praised his team for their strong start but emphasized the need for continued improvement, especially with back-to-back games in quick succession.

Michele Gumabao and Jema Galanza also contributed significantly, with Gumabao scoring crucial points late in Set 4 to help Creamline pull away from Akari.

Meanwhile, Cignal maintained its unbeaten streak by sweeping Capital1 in another match on Monday, winning sets of 25-21, 25-22, and 25-16.
