Capital1 signs 7 players, headlined by Malabanan

Vigan-based Capital1 has signed five free agents, including returning star Jerrili Malabanan, to bolster their roster ahead of the 2025 PVL On Tour.

Capital1 added Bella Belen as the first overall pick in the draft, followed by Rachel Austero, KC Galdones, Nikka Yandoc, and Ypril Tapia to strengthen their lineup.

Malabanan, a former Far Eastern University standout who last played for Cignal, is expected to enhance Capital1's offensive capabilities.

Coach Jorge Souza De Brito now leads the team, which includes veterans like Leila Cruz alongside young talents such as Belen and Tapia.

Capital1 also signed Pia Abbu in the second round and Ivy Aquino in the third round, adding depth to their squad alongside seasoned players like Julia Ipac and Sydney Niegos.
