Cignal HD Spikers win first two PVL on Tour matches

The Cignal HD Spikers secured a strong victory over the Akari Chargers and followed it up with another win against Capital1 in their PVL on Tour debut on Sunday and Monday at Chavit Coliseum in Vigan, Ilocos Sur.

Erika Santos led the team with 14 points in the first match and continued her good performance with 11 points in the second match, contributing to Cignal's decisive victories.

Gel Cayuna was instrumental in the second win, earning Player of the Game honors for her 27 excellent sets as Cignal swept Capital1 with scores of 25-21, 25-22, and 25-16.

Coach Shaq Delos Santos noted that while the team is still lacking in certain areas, they responded well to challenges and adjustments made during preparations, displaying their veteran poise throughout both matches.

Both teams will return to action; Cignal faces Chery Tiggo Crossovers on July 5 at Ynares Center in Montalban, while Capital1's next match is yet to be announced.
