Creamline beats Akari 3-1 in PVL on Tour

The Creamline Cool Smashers secured a victory over the Akari Chargers with scores of 27-25, 22-25, 25-19, and 25-18 in their second game of the PVL on Tour at Chavit Coliseum in Vigan, Ilocos Sur.

Michele Gumabao led Creamline with 18 points, while Alyssa Valdez earned Player of the Game honors with 16 points including two aces and 13 kills.

Jema Galanza contributed an all-around performance of 12 points, 18 digs, and 10 receptions, and rookie Sheena Toring added 10 points including two kill blocks.

Akari's Grethcel Soltones led her team with 18 points on 17 kills, but the Chargers fell to a 0-2 record in the preseason.

Creamline head coach Sherwin Meneses expressed satisfaction despite it being their second game of back-to-back matches and emphasized areas for improvement.
