PDEA files charges against Christopher for shabu smuggling, seizures in Calapan and Sibulan

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency has filed criminal charges against Christopher for smuggling 120 kilos of suspected shabu worth PHP816 million in Calapan City on March 21.

On Wednesday, April 9, the PDEA-6 seized four kilos of suspected shabu valued at PHP27.2 million from Eljin during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Maslog, Sibulan, Negros Oriental.

Separately, Binangonan Municipal Police Station arrested five drug suspects on Wednesday and Thursday, April 9-10, recovering P471,784 worth of shabu and an improvised shotgun from them.

Khent Bryle, who was apprehended with two kilos of suspected shabu valued at PHP13.6 million in Barangay Bantayanon, Calatrava, Negros Occidental on Monday night, April 7, remains under investigation for his ties to a drug syndicate due to the volume of drugs seized.

Eljin was identified as a high-value drug dealer and is also being probed for connections and the origin of the contraband.

Authorities are now investigating the recent arrests in Binangonan, with Dani facing an additional charge under Republic Act 10591 related to firearms regulation.
