Cordillera under moderate risk for Covid-19 transmission

The Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) is now under moderate risk for coronavirus transmission with a low two-week growth rate of -47 percent.

Only Apayao and Mountain Province remain in high-risk status due to their respective 5% and 1% growth rates.

Baguio City, Abra (-29%), Benguet (-39%), Ifugao (-23%), and Kalinga (-62%) are under moderate risk.

The region logged 121 new infections and 992 recoveries on Tuesday, February 8th.

Active cases in the region continue to decrease; as of Monday, February 7th, there were 6,761 active cases compared to 8,565 on January 31st.
