Converge beats Phoenix 116-105 in PBA Commissioner's Cup

Converge FiberXers secured a crucial victory over Phoenix Fuel Masters with a final score of 116-105 in the PBA Commissioner's Cup at Ninoy Aquino Stadium on Thursday, December 19.

Despite falling behind by as many as 18 points early on, Converge rallied to earn their fourth win in six games and extend Phoenix's record to 1-5.

Jordan Heading led the FiberXers with a standout performance of 21 points, three rebounds, six assists, and five steals, while Cheick Diallo contributed 21 points and 16 rebounds.

Converge coach Franco Atienza praised his team for their efficient passing and ball control, noting they had 19 assists and only 11 turnovers.

The game remained tight until Converge went on a decisive nine-point run late in the fourth quarter to seal their win with a final score of 105-94.

Meanwhile, TNT cruised to back-to-back wins after defeating Blackwater by a score of 109-93.
