NorthPort wins fifth straight in PBA Cup

NorthPort secured their fifth consecutive win in the PBA Commissioner's Cup with a narrow 108-101 victory over Converge on Thursday at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium in Manila.

Joshua Munzon scored 30 points, including two crucial three-pointers down the stretch that helped NorthPort pull away from Converge in the final minutes.

Kadeem Jack led all scorers with 32 points and 15 rebounds, while Arvin Tolentino contributed a double-double of 21 points and 13 rebounds despite seven turnovers.

Justine Baltazar struggled in his first game for Converge after completing his MPBL contract, scoring only five points in almost 20 minutes.

NorthPort maintained their perfect record with the win, while Blackwater broke through to secure a dominant victory over Meralco, 114-98.
