Converge beats Barangay Ginebra 98-91 in PBA Commissioner's Cup

Converge staged a remarkable comeback to defeat Barangay Ginebra 98-91 in the PBA Season 49 Commissioner's Cup on Saturday at the Batangas City Coliseum.

Alec Stockton and Cheick Diallo led Converge’s charge, helping the team erase a double-digit deficit with a strong third quarter performance that included a pivotal 20-0 run.

Stockton scored 22 points, eight assists, and six rebounds to lead Converge to their fifth win in the tournament, while Diallo added a double-double of 19 points and 18 rebounds.

Despite scoring 39 points, Justin Brownlee's efforts were not enough for Ginebra as they fell behind after Converge’s decisive run late in the game.

The win improved Converge's record to 5-2 while dropping Ginebra to 3-2 in the tournament.
