Converge beats NorthPort 107-99 in PBA Governors' Cup

Converge snapped a three-game losing streak by defeating NorthPort with a 107-99 victory in the PBA Governors' Cup on Wednesday.

Despite leading by as many as 16 points early, Converge faced a third-quarter comeback from NorthPort but rallied late to secure the win.

Coach Franco Atienza attributed their turnaround to defensive efforts and key plays by Bryan Santos, Alec Stockton, and Schonny Winston.

Stockton led all scorers with 21 points, while Winston earned Player of the Game honors with 17 points and nine rebounds. Santos contributed 15 points from beyond the arc.

NorthPort's Venky Jois and Arvin Tolentino both had double-doubles but struggled at the free-throw line (36-of-57), contributing to their eight-point loss.
