Converge beats Blackwater 127-109 in PBA Commissioner's Cup

Converge secured a 127-109 victory over Blackwater in the PBA Season 49 Commissioner's Cup on Sunday at the Ynares Center.

Justine Baltazar led Converge with a career-high 20 points, 10 rebounds, and three blocks, contributing to their second-place standing and tying a franchise record for most wins after 11 games.

Jordan Heading added 22 points while imports Cheik Diallo and Alec Stockton chipped in 20 and 19 points respectively; the win matched Converge's all-time best set two seasons ago.

Blackwater's George King scored 34 points but it wasn't enough as Converge maintained a strong defensive stance throughout the game, extending their record to eight wins.

Converge took an early lead with nine triples in the first half and sealed the win despite Justin Arana leaving the game due to a hyperextended knee.
