Classes suspended in Bicol due to Paeng

Classes were suspended on Thursday and will continue through Sunday in Albay due to Tropical Storm Paeng.

Albay Governor Noel Rosal advised local officials to activate disaster operations centers and prepare residents for possible evacuation.

Bicol University president Arnulfo Mascarińas declared a suspension of work, classes, and activities including the entrance examination and BU Olympics 2022 sports competition.

In Camarines Norte, Governor Ricarte Padilla suspended all levels of public and private school classes due to heavy rainfall.

Camarines Sur Governor Vincenzo Villafuerte also suspended classes at all levels and reported flooding in seven municipalities.

Bagamanoc town Mayor Odilon Pascua in Catanduanes province suspended in-person classes as a precautionary measure.
