Classes, gov't work suspended in areas hit by Typhoon Karding

Classes and government work were suspended in several areas across the Philippines on Tuesday due to Typhoon Karding's aftermath.

In Bulacan, Hagonoy, San Ildefonso, San Rafael, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Candaba, Masantol, Tarlac, Bamban, Capas, and San Jose, all levels of classes were suspended.

Subic Bay Freeport in Zambales also suspended classes on Monday due to the typhoon, while work in government offices was halted except for those involved in relief operations.

Nueva Ecija's governor declared a suspension of classes and work in government offices on Monday, with private companies having the option to decide whether to suspend work.

Quezon province similarly suspended all levels of classes and government work on Monday due to Karding's impact.
