Nueva Ecija under state calamity after Typhoon Karding

Nueva Ecija has been declared under a state of calamity following the devastation caused by Typhoon Karding over the weekend.

The provincial board passed Resolution No. 82-S-2022, authorizing the use of local disaster risk reduction and management funds for relief and recovery programs.

Heavy flooding, power outages, and impassable roads were reported in the province after the typhoon hit Luzon.
