Cities urge residents to join national vax drive

On the first day of the nationwide National Vaccination Days, Zamboanga City vaccinated almost 34,000 residents against COVID-19, falling short of its daily target by 5,405 people.

Mayor Maria Isabelle Salazar called on residents to unite in the fight against COVID-19 and get vaccinated.

In Cabanatuan City, Mayor Myca Elizabeth Vergara urged her constituents to take advantage of the three-day National Vaccination Days to be inoculated against COVID-19.

The city still needs to vaccinate 100,359 residents to meet its target set by the DOH for population protection.
