Heather Guino-o helps Cignal sweep with seven points

Heather Guino-o helped Cignal complete a two-game sweep of its Vigan trip by defeating Capital1 in the PVL on Tour on Monday.

Guino-o, who played for Far Eastern University earlier in her career and now reunites with former teammates and coach Shaq Delos Santos, scored seven points including two blocks against her former team.

Cignal's coach praised Guino-o and other new players for their impact on the team's performance and flexibility in game strategies, noting that familiarity among players from FEU has made it easier to adapt.

Delos Santos emphasized that while they have more options now with new players, the team still needs to improve ahead of tougher competition.

Guino-o vows to stay ready as Cignal prepares to face Creamline next on July 1 at FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City.
