Choco Mucho Flying Titans beat Nxled Chameleons 3-0 in PVL opener

The Choco Mucho Flying Titans secured a 25-12, 25-22, 25-18 victory over Nxled Chameleons in their opening match of the 2024 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference on Thursday.

Reigning PVL MVP Sisi Rondina led the team with 17 points, while Mars Alba, who filled in for injured setter Deanna Wong, contributed a game-high 18 excellent sets and praised her growing connection with Rondina.

Coach Dante Alinsunurin highlighted his team's strong start despite a close second set where Nxled nearly caught up but ultimately fell short due to crucial errors.

Kat Tolentino added 12 points and Cherry Rose Nunag contributed 10 points, while former UAAP Finals MVP Mars Alba expressed gratitude for her immediate impact on the team.

Despite the win, both Rondina and Alba noted areas that still require improvement as the season progresses, with concerns over Aduke Ogunsanya's knee injury during the match.
