PLDT HSH beats Nxled Chameleons 3-0 in PVL All-Filipino Conference

The PLDT High Speed Hitters secured their second victory in the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference, defeating Nxled Chameleons with set scores of 25-17, 25-23, and 25-22 on Tuesday at PhilSports Arena.

Kath Arado, PLDT's team captain, attributed the team's success to their new players Majoy Baron and Kim Fajardo, who provided reliable support for leading scorer Savannah Davison.

Coach Rald Ricafort expressed satisfaction with his team's performance but noted that they still have areas to improve before their next match against Petro Gazz Angels on Saturday.

Savannah Davison led PLDT with a triple-double outing of 13 points, 10 digs, and 10 receptions, while Jessy de Leon contributed 11 points including two aces, highlighting the team's balanced offensive play despite missing key players like Mika Reyes and Dell Palomata.

PLDT improved to a perfect 2-0 record in the tournament, while Nxled Chameleons dropped to a 0-2 standing and will participate in the PVL taraflex starting March 7.
