Choco Mucho wins first PVL All-Filipino Conference match

Choco Mucho secured its first victory in the 2024-25 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference with a hard-fought 3-2 win over Galeries Tower on Thursday at the FilOil EcoOil Arena.

The Flying Titans' strong net defense, highlighted by 22 blocks, was crucial in overcoming Galeries despite losing the first and fourth sets.

Opposite spiker Kat Tolentino led Choco Mucho with 27 points and seven blocks, while rookie Lorraine Pecaña contributed significantly with seven blocks of her own.

Coach Dante Alinsunurin emphasized that blocking would be a key strength for his team moving forward, despite areas needing improvement.

Former MVP Sisi Rondina added 19 attack points and eight excellent receptions, helping Choco Mucho secure the decisive fifth set victory after nearly three hours of play.
