Choco Mucho wins first game of season without Deanna Wong

Kat Tolentino scored 27 points including seven blocks, securing Choco Mucho's first win of the season in a five-set victory over Galeries Tower on Thursday.

Coach Alinsunurin expressed confidence in new main setter Mars Alba and backup Jem Ferrer, who have been contributing consistently even before Wong's injury.

Tolentino’s resurgence at the start of the conference is attributed to her hard work in practice as she regains top condition despite health issues.

Choco Mucho will next face Capital1 a week later at FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City.
