Victoria Kjær Theilvig crowned Miss Universe 2024; Chelsea Manalo wins Miss Universe Asia

Victoria Kjær Theilvig from Denmark was crowned Miss Universe 2024, marking a historic moment for her country.

Chelsea Manalo of the Philippines, who did not make it to the Top 12 but earned the title of Miss Universe Asia, made significant contributions to her country's representation in the competition.

During technical rehearsals, Chelsea was asked about what she learned from fellow contestants and responded that women showcase their power by being authentic and unafraid to be themselves.

Chelsea's fans praised her for her calm and graceful delivery during the Q&A portion of the rehearsal.

Miss Universe Philippines national director Shamcey Supsup congratulated Victoria Kjær Theilvig on her authenticity and genuine presence, while also praising Chelsea Manalo’s performance in the swimsuit segment and her unique 'Tampisaw Walk'.

The pageant featured four continental queens: Miss Universe Asia (Chelsea Manalo), Miss Universe Africa & Oceania (Chidimma Adetshina from Nigeria), Miss Universe Europe & Middle East (Matilda Wirtavuori from Finland), and Miss Universe Americas (Tatiana Calmell from Peru).
